On using the Gallery

Please go to the CJCL gallery and register in the upper right hand corner.

IMPORTANT: Once I activate your account you can comment pictures or you can find and enter the album you want, hit "sidebar" in the upper right, and select"add item". Using the "From Web Browser" tab, select image files one by one to upload or put many images into a .zip folder and upload it. You have a 50MB file size limit. In the "Set item titles from:" menu select:

  • Base file name if you files are named individually (e.g. "arriving at the hotel.jpg") rather than generically (e.g. "image_001.jpg")
  • Caption if you are uploading individual images (not in a .zip) and you have written captions that are short and useful.
  • Blank if you are uploading in bulk (using a .zip) or don't feel like naming your files or giving them a caption.

Thanks for taking the time to learn how to use this system properly.

N.B. You probably don't want to be using IE 7 beta versions. As far as I know, gallery, as well as any form uploaders, will experience problems when viewed or activated with IE 7. Just avoid IE. It's made by Microsoft.
