California Regional Certamina Rounds (CARCER)
CARCER is the qualifier for the semi-final Certamen rounds at State Convention. Every year about a month before State convention, CAJCL holds regional finals to determine who will advance to play at states. Held on the same day, it is actually two events that make up CARCER - one in the north, and one in the south.
